How to use this tankless water heater flushing kit? Disconnect the power supply to the water heater (per the manufacturer’s instructions).Shut off the main water supply valve to the tankless water heating unit.Close the hot and cold water isolation valves and remove service caps (If isolation valves are not installed on your heater, you must disconnect and drain the heater and connect the hoses directly to the hot and cold connections).Clean the cold water inlet screen of any sediment or dirt.Add and thoroughly dissolve the entire contents of the descaler into one and a half gallons of water in the provided bucket.Connect one hose from the pump’s discharge outlet to the cold isolation valve on the tankless water heater.Connect the second hose from the hot isolation valve on the tankless water heater to the bucket.Open both the hot and cold isolation valves.Turn on the pump and allow the solution to circulate for 20 minutes for thorough cleaning.
